Five Ways To Get Rid Of Flying Fear

Fear of flying is a fear many people experience while travelling on an aeroplane, or a
helicopter. The crowded space, turbulence, sensations of taking off and landing can be
unpleasant. It is also referred to as flying anxiety, flying phobia, flight phobia and
Aerophobia (fear of fresh air). The most important manifestation can include panic attacks,
anxiety attacks, shaking, sweating and nausea etc. There are 5 steps to help conquer your

  1. Positive Thinking – The first or most effective way to overcome flight anxiety is
    thinking positively while travelling in the flight. Don’t think about negative aspects

    aerophobia by yourself. People can also feel embarrassed to speak about the fear of
    flying but it’s no big deal. It will be good if you talk to someone about it. If you
    choose to work with a professional to help you overcome or manage the fear and you
    can be honest about it. Exposure therapy is commonly used therapy to treat
    aerophobia, by allowing the person to become adjusted to the ideas of sensations of
