Workshop on ‘Multi disciplinary applications in AI’ to be held at SPMVV

TIRUPATI: Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam in coordination with the department of science and technology (DST), government of India will organize a two day workshop on “Multi disciplinary applications in Artificial intelligence” under the CURIE programme (Consolidation of university research for innovation and excellence in women universities) from Tuesday.

The DST, government of India, initiated the CURIE programme in 2009 to enhance research and development in women universities across the country, and Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam is one among the four southern universities shortlisted under the DST-CURIE central instrumentation facility.

Nearly 30 odd students of the university will take part in the 2-day workshop in which Prof. D Jamuna, Vice chancellor of SPMVV will be the chief guest. Expert speakers including Prof. Vivek Kumar Singh from the Banaras Hindu university, Prof. Bishwanath Datta from Illinois university and Prof. Srinivas will take part in the workshop.
